I have just returned home from the 2011 SCCTE conference at Kiawah Island. As I was moving from room to room between sessions, I started to get that swirl of excitement and inspiration. This year was my first time presenting. A collegue, Deanna Watson, and I presented on collaboration across content lines. It didn't go exactly how I thought it would, but we did it! We will have another opportunity to present in February at our district's instructional fair, so now that we have had a go at it we can make some changes and adaptations to make it better. Anyway, once our presentation was over for some reason I started thinking about what's next.
So here I am! Our school will begin 1:1 computing next year, so I attended a lot of sessions that incorporated technology. I plan to blog about how I incorporate what I learned this year at the conference into my teaching practices.
