Google Docs

I have a student teacher from USC this semester. It's hard to believe that I have been teaching long enough now to have a student teacher, but more so that it has been so long since I have graduated. Nathan, the intern, is an advocate for Google docs. I am learning slowly, but learning nonetheless. Everything Nathan does that needs to be checked by me or documents/schedules that I need to share with him we put on Google docs. Here's the cool part (which most people already know if they are familiar with Google docs) is that anyone the document is shared with can edit. So, although I am on a very big learning curve, I am thinking this google doc thing is pretty cool. What I am curious about is if the Learning Management system that my school district has bought will have these same types of tools available? Hmmm...I wonder.
